2c8aad12ba Model relative property tree root binding.
Change fgcommand to take an optional property tree root element.

This fixes the animation bindings to use the defined property tree root - to support multiplayer (or other) model that can bind to the correct part of the property tree.

Requires a corresponding fix in sg to allow the command methods to take an optional root parameter.

What this means is that when inside someone else's multiplayer model (e.g. backseat, or co-pilot), the multipalyer (AI) model will correctly modify properties inside the correct part of the property tree inside (/ai), rather than modifying the properties inside the same part of the tree as the non-ai model.

This means that a properly setup model will operate within it's own space in the property tree; and permit more generic multiplayer code to be written.

This is probably responsible for some of the pollution of the root property tree with MP aircraft properties.

28e9ba21f6 Fixed route manager returning freed char* pointers via tied properties
On Mac it was visible as random strings displayed in the route manager
dialog for selected SIDs and STARs.

Depends on a SimGear change which introduces SGStringValueMethods.

16d1c47664 Fix a FlightPlan lifetime issue.
Route-manager was explicitly deleting its FP, which was incorrect.
Switch to correct use of SGSharedPtr to refer to flight plans.

Thanks to Roland Haeder for catching this.

d311045018 Bug 974, GPS exceptions at end-of-route.
One of the two route termination conditions was improperly handled, leading to bad leg/wpt indices and exceptions from the GPS code. Detect passing the final waypoint in a more robust way now.

Also fix the GPS code to avoid turn computation on the final leg.

1ef77b2bc2 More route-manager functionality moved to Nasal.
The routing behaviour now happens entirely in Nasal,
using a delegate, and can be over-ridden or disable
by aircraft authors. Default behaviour should be
unchanged.

- a refactoring of the route manager to reduce indentation and duplication
	- created a helper method to generate the ETA strings
	- created a helper to update target_altitude and altitude_set when the active wp0 changes
	- used early returns to make update() easier to follow
	- removed spurious includes in both header and source file

f3b110e565 James Turner:
Attached patch updates the route-manager to use FGPositioned to search
for waypoints, instead of a manual airport / fix / navaid search. This
is good because it's now using the 'strictly closest' match, rather
than arbitrarily picking a distant fix over a nearby navaid. In my
case, the TLA VOR is significant to several EGPH procedures, but also
happens to be the ident of a fix a long, long way away.

Also updates the FGPositioned class to stop using Point3D, partly
because it's deprecated and partly because I had misunderstood the
interface and was using it wrong. For now, all FGPositioned distance
checks use SGGeodesy::inverse, which is accurate but inefficient. Once
FGPositioned queries are used for something on a hot path, I'll
probably store the cartesian position as well as the geodetic, to make
these checks fast.

667e64e1eb - remove the SG_GLxxxx_H #defines, since OSG provides its own versions
- this exposed a bizarre issue on Mac where dragging in <AGL/agl.h> in
extensions.hxx was pulling in all of Carbon to the global namespace
   - very scary. As a result, I now need to explicitly include CoreFoundation
   in fg_init.cxx.
 - change SG_USING_STD(x) to using std::x
2008-07-27 16:25:13 +00:00

d9bfd5a425 This should apply, and everything should build cleanly, in isolation from the
SimGear change. It changes all the SG_xxxx to be the 'real' includes, and gets
rid of many #ifdef SG_HAVE_STD_INCLUDES. As an added bonus, rather than
replacing 'SG_USING_NAMESPACE(std)' with 'using namespace std', I just fixed
the small number of places to use std:: explicitly. So we're no longer polluting
the global namespace with the entire contents of std, in many cases.

There is one more 'mechanical' change to come - getting rid of SG_USING_STD(X),
but I want to keep that separate from everything else. (There's another
mechnical change, replacing <math.h> with <cmath> and so on *everywhere*, but
one step at a time)
