c60912f61f SCR-522C radio code clean up 
Now uses gui.menuBind() to override Equipment --> radio menu item
Will now turn radio receiver on and off as needed
General code clean up
Still needs keyboard mappings so that radio can be controled via the keyboard

cc53219cb9 Add radio type TR1133. This was the standard RAF VHF radio during WWII and after. Under a UK contract, Bendix produced a re-engineered version, the SCR-522. The two radios were functionally identical, and shared a common cockpit control box.

3c20f3b38c Fix bug #287: gyro correction ignored by autopilot 
The generic-autopilot-helper computes heading-bug-error from
magnetic heading, not indicated heading. This patch corrects
this by pulling the two used generic helper filters into our
own config (so the generic-ap-helper.xml can go away).

f92e507f6e A-6E, A-10, f-14b, f16 now use the same /Aircraft/Instruments-3d/altimeter/altimeter.ac et altimeter.png 
They still keep in their own tree their own altimeter.xml file due the lighting specific colors.
A few other instrument shared the textures with the altimeter, fixed by adding numbers.png
Next step: improve the generic instrument to display negative altitudes.

869ad48f28 1. Changed from nasal asin and acos to interpolation gear scisors animation for pa24 and pa28. Also changed from nasal filters to pseudo autopilot xml filters for nav0 and nav1 cdi and gs needle animations. 
2.  Corrected c172p nav0 and nav1 cdi and gs needle animations by adding generic-autopilot-helper.xml per Torsten's hint.
3.  Changed main gear compression animation computation from nasal to interpolation xml.

2b648ea118 Rescale odd texture sizes (257x257, etc.) so that the OSG texture loader 
doesn't need to do this on the fly.  OpenGL requires that texture dimensions
be a power of 2 (32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, etc.) so if we feed in
something else, OSG will rescale it on the fly before registering it as an
OpenGL texture.

bafc98ee5b New autopilot subsytem implementation. 
The new A/P implementation does not contain the hardcoded "helper" functions
anymore. The properties created in these helpers are now generated by
autopilot components defined in generic-autopilot-helper.xml which is
included by default in preferences.xml

7a7ac553fa Prepare for moving the hard coded A/P helpers into XML 
Currently, there are some hard coded autopilot helpers.
They can (and should) easily be modeled in an external XML file.
The filter in this file produce the exact same output as the hard coded
filters.
This is just a preparation step for a smooth transition at a later time.

Over Christmas week, I did a significant update to the pa24.

1.  made interior 3d with wall thickness variation to match real geometry..
2.  added cabin door and baggage door automation.
3.  moved the instrument panel to the "right" x and z location.
4.  replaced all the pa24-panel.xml automations with pick automations so that file can be removed from cvs.
5.  mixture, throttle, prop control automations that were in pa24-panel.xml now done with mouse wheel.
6.  flapTrim.ac better matches real geometry and added picks.
7.  glareshield better matches real geometry (now has correct width).
8.  kr87 (adf) panel animation replaced with pick animation as in pa28.

The Instruments-3d patch adds picks for the asi-pa24 and makes minor tweaks to the pa24 and pa28 fuel-oil-amps gauges.

d04b398e9b - Sebastien Marque: Turnpoint is managed using "OBS mode", the route is still managed by zkv500's Nasal, only "obs" mode is available (see http://wiki.flightgear.org/index.php/GPS_internals). It should be "leg mode" but I can't get it to work as I expect to. 2009-12-08 20:18:16 +00:00
