81dc1a3875 sample code for the f16. Use like so:
$ fgfs --aircraft=f16-3d --prop:hud=Huds/f16.xml --prop:sim/hud/visibility\[1\]=1

The hud path is for now expected in /hud. This will, of course, be changed
later. The old and new HUD code don't match exactly when laid one over the
other yet, and the new HUD's tapes don't work.

e9c2efe423 README ... describes which files belong to the old, and which to the new HUD
Instruments/*.xml ... single components, like the gload display
Sets/*.xml ... combinations of components

There's no difference in filetypes between "sets" and "instruments". It's
just easier to find things that way. Note that new and old files are never
mixed in one dir.

6cb7b4d404 add /sim/devel=false setting (this controls some extra widgets in dialogs
that aren't meant for the general audience: the old shadow debug checkbox
in the rendering dialog, and some extra fun sliders in the HUD dialog)

9869235aa4 make HUD colors settable. The number of color groups isn't fixed. Add as
many as you like, but not at runtime. Some aircraft may especially want to
change the first ("day") color, as the predefined green is IMHO a bit dark
and should possibly be more white-ish.

cafaeb78a1 Change the TACAN/frerquency from Channel/ground frequency to Channel/VOR frequency. This is a hack to overcome the hack in nav.dat. Not all TACAN channels have a VOR frequency pair, so those channels either have the ILS freqency pairing, or still use the ground frequency. It sounds like a mess, but it's a pragmatic solution. We might be able to sort out nav.dat in the future. 2006-06-06 15:09:25 +00:00

af6634e58a copy splash colors/fonts from default.xml, as the splash screen will read
them now from the selected style, and not always from /sim/gui/style[0]
